A celestial chart depicting the constellations of the Southern Sky, with the South Pole labelled Terra Australis Incognita. This superb chart with figures of the Zodiac is from the Celestial Atlas of Universal Harmony, or Harmonia Macrocosmica, by Andreas Cellarius (1596–1665), considered by many to be the most beautiful star atlas ever published.
