Collection: Vintage Real Estate Posters - Sydney
This collection features charming posters filled with local history and maps of early Sydney development, many from the 1880s land boom and dating back to the convict era. Real estate posters, or sales plans, were designed to be posted on shop windows and billboards, or folded into brochures for prospective buyers. Not much has changed in real estate marketing over the past two centuries in that respect. The price of land, however, is a different story!
These plans have been digitally restored from original museum items held in major public collections. Many are highly decorative as poster sized fine-art prints for framing.
