The brush-tailed rock-wallaby (Petrogale penicillata) inhabits It inhabits rock piles and cliff lines along the Great Dividing Range mostly in New South Wales, from northern Victoria to Brisbane. It's listed as an endangered species with its range diminishing, particularly following the severe fires of 2019-20 which destroyed 70% of its natural habitat.
